I can deal with the cold but the rain makes doing anything much harder, the garden now has patches of no go area because it is so muddy. The hens escape to the garage when Alex has the door open to try and get some shelter, shaking their feathers unhappily. At least we are up a hill, so no chance of flooding. I feel really sorry for people who have been flooded. When I was a child it was a constant fear as we lived next to the River Wey. In fact my childhood village Byfleet was on the news as it was completely cut off over Christmas. Let’s hope it stops soon and the early spring flowers have half a chance, I can see the snowdrops just appearing under the trees. Apart from the rain we have been having some interesting night Skies over Kennels Cottage.
